The Truth About Trump’s ‘Voter Fraud’ Scam

Trump plans on staying in the White House past January 20th by trying to discredit the election on November 3rd. He knows he’s going to lose. So his plan is to disrupt, deter, and steal the election. Central to his criminal attack on the constitution is the excuse of massive voter fraud directed against his campaign. It’s all a big lie.

The only voter fraud cases are by Trump supporters and Trump himself

Trump is engaging in voter fraud here:

A day after President Donald Trump encouraged North Carolinians to try to vote twice in November, he made a convoluted appeal that they both mail in ballots and appear at polling places in person on Election Day, even as local election officials warned of potential illegality.

An avowed Republican activist and supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump, who was born in Mexico but lived in the United States illegally for more than 20 years, was found guilty on Friday of identity theft and five counts of alien voter fraud.

A federal court jury in Sacramento, California, returned the guilty verdict against Gustavo Araujo Lerma, 64, after several hours of deliberation, capping a five-day trial in which defense lawyers presented letters of thanks from Trump and top Republican Party officials.

Police in Iowa have charged a 55-year-old woman with election misconduct after she reportedly voted twice for Donald Trump. Police said Saturday they’d learned of the crime from election officials, who reported that Terri Rote had submitted two absentee ballots. Rote was arrested on Thursday and faces Class D felony charges. A true Donald Trump supporter, Rote said in an interview with Iowa Public Radio that she’d committed fraud because she feared her vote would later be switched to Hillary Clinton. “I wasn’t planning on doing it twice, it was spur of the moment. The polls are rigged,” she said, echoing the Republican nominee’s mantra. Trump has repeatedly claimed the election is rigged, warning of “large-scale voter fraud” happening all across the nation. A preliminary hearing for Rote is set for Nov. 7. She was released from jail after posting $5,000 bail.

Voter fraud was going on in 2016. But only on behalf of Trump:

Donald Trump has repeatedly warned that the 2016 election will be “rigged” in favor of Hillary Clinton, but so far the voters caught committing fraud have been attempting to cast their ballots for the Republican nominee.

On Friday, an election judge in Madison County, Illinois, was charged with two felony counts of election fraud for allegedly submitting an absentee ballot on behalf of her deceased husband. Audrey Cook, 88, told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch she received the ballots in the mail shortly after her longtime spouse passed away, in September. She said he’d made it clear he intended to vote for Trump.

Even FOX News isn’t buying the lie about mail-in Voter Fraud

This is voter intimidation. Which is tantamount to voter fraud:

Supporters of President Donald Trump staged a rally during early voting at a polling station in Virginia on Saturday, in a stunt that an election official said had intimidated voters and disrupted voting.

Trump’s own hand-picked FBI director says rampant voter fraud non-existant:

The F.B.I. has not seen evidence of a “coordinated national voter fraud effort,” its director, Christopher A. Wray, told lawmakers on Thursday, undercutting President Trump’s efforts to stoke fears about mail-in ballots by claiming without evidence that they are an election threat.

Mail-in voter fraud is exceedingly rare. Therefore Trump is lying about it being an issue:

The Brookings Institute analyzed a Heritage Foundation database of alleged voter-fraud cases and found that in five states that used universal mail-in voting prior to this year’s COVID-19 pandemic, just 0.00006% of 52 million ballots cast over the past 20 years were related to voting by mail.

The leader of the Republicans in the U.S. Senate doesn’t think much of Trump’s conspiracy theory:

Trump’s concerns are not shared by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky:

“My view is the post office can get the job done,” McConnell said in an interview with the Herald-Leader earlier this month. “We need to conduct the election in each state in the way that the rules are set up in that state and run your campaign accordingly.”

If there is mail ballot fraud it’s coming from Trump supporters:
